MOUNT VERNON, NY — Mayor Richard Thomas will host the City of Mount Vernon’s annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall Plaza on Tuesday.
There's a lot going on this year!
The event starts at 5 p.m. with horse and carriage rides, toy soldiers marching, and a special appearance by Santa Claus himself. Choirs from local churches will sing until 6:30 p.m. when the holiday tree is lit.
