Early Morning Mount Vernon Raid Leads To Major Crack Seizure
Detectives had been investigating the sale of crack from a South Fulton Ave. home for some time, according to officials.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — The Mount Vernon Police Department announced today that they confiscated over 130 grams of crack cocaine from a Mount Vernon home shortly before the start of the holiday weekend.
Detectives had been investigating the sale of crack cocaine from a South Fulton Ave. home for some time, according to officials.
At around 5 a.m. last Thursday, members of the MVPD Emergency Services Unit, the Violent Crime Unit and the FBI Westchester Safe Streets Task Force executed a search warrant and found several people inside that home, along with the considerable stash of crack cocaine.

Eight people were arrested and charged, according to police:
- Jack Price, 21, from Mount Vernon, charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree.
- Patrick Pilgrim, 32, from Mount Vernon, charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree.
- Prince Scott, 34, from Mount Vernon, charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree. Scott was also charged with violating the terms of his U.S. Probation.
- Aaliiyah Jones, 21, from Mount Vernon, charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree.
- Louise Harris, 58, from Brooklyn, charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree.
- Dominique Willis, 36, from Mount Vernon, charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree.
- Sheila Draine, 54, from Mount Vernon, charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree.
- John Ivory, 57, from Mount Vernon was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree and tampering with physical evidence.
All the arrested parties were arraigned in Mount Vernon City Court on Thursday.
