Father Accused Of Killing Son, 2
Lloyd Scott of Mount Vernon has been charged with second-degree murder.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — Lloyd Scott of Mount Vernon has been charged with Murder in the Second Degree, a class A felony, in the death Monday of his 2-year-old son.
The felony complaint alleges Scott took his son’s life while in their home in an apartment complex at 531 East Lincoln Ave., Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. announced.
Prosecutors allege he was alone with the child Monday, while the child’s mother was at work. After returning home from work, the mother found the child in bed, unresponsive, and took him to Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
