Transitioning back into community life can be difficult for many veterans without proper support. Many are left without homes or access to the resources necessary for living a productive life. Currently, WestCOP (Westchester Community Opportunity Program, Inc.) is the leading provider of housing to homeless veterans in the Hudson Valley.
Each year, it helps more than 400 veterans and their families and currently administer over 24 programs addressing almost every social need. By promoting housing stability among low-income veteran families, WestCOP and the Veterans Families Supporting Services Program can continue helping veterans in the community.
