Hudson Valley Restaurant Among 100 'Most Scenic' In America, New Ranking Says
See it and the other New York restaurants that were ranked nationally for scenic dining views (and some you might travel to NJ for).

A Hudson Valley restaurant is among the nation's 100 "most scenic" dining spots, according to a list released this month by OpenTable. Its 100 Most Scenic Restaurants ranking for 2017 highlights dining spots that offer "breath-taking views of nature, cityscapes and travel-worthy landmarks." And X2O Xaviars on the Hudson is on the list.
According to OpenTable, the list represents a diverse mix of menus, including Asian, French, Italian and Latin American.
Here's what OpenTable said about the Yonkers restaurant: X2O Xaviars on the Hudson is Peter X Kelly’s latest addition to the Xaviars Restaurant Group. It sits in the water on the only turn of the century Victorian pier still in use on the Hudson River. X2O’s Main Dining Salon's 25 foot vaulted ceiling and 3 walls of glass frame offers views of the George Washington and Tappan Zee Bridges, as well as sunsets over the Palisades.

Inspired by the cultural dining history of the Oneida Indians and their practice of "eating the seasons" through locally sourced and sustainable foods, TS Steakhouse builds on this long-standing tradition to deliver fine dining steakhouse favorites created with seasonal ingredients.
And for a different kind of New York view, here are two of the four New Jersey restaurants that made the list:
Chart House Restaurant (Weehawken)
What OpenTable says about it: Spectacularly located on the Hudson River directly across from Manhattan, the Weehawken Chart House at Lincoln Harbor offers panoramic views of the glittering New York skyline – from the Empire State Building to Wall Street.
Highlawn Pavilion (West Orange)
What OpenTable says about it: Highlawn Pavilion is a turn-of-the-century Florentine-style pavilion that has been beautifully restored to European grandeur with breathtaking views of Manhattan. Serving American Fare with European Flair.
The 100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America list is generated from more than 10 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners between July 1, 2016, and May 31, 2017. All restaurants with a minimum "overall" score and number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then scored and sorted according to the percentage of qualifying reviews for which "scenic views" was selected as a special feature.
