Motorcyclist Killed In Tragic Bronx River Parkway Crash

The motorcyclist lost control and wrecked just north of the New York City border, according to Westchester County Police.

YONKERS, NY — A motorcycle accident has left one person dead and caused traffic mayhem for much of the afternoon commute.

The Westchester County Police Department says the motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon on the northbound Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers, when he lost control and crashed just south of the Yonkers Ave. exit.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not yet released the identity of the victim.
