Mount Vernon Celebrates Boys Basketball Champs

MOUNT VERNON, NY — The City of Mount Vernon and the Mount Vernon Central School District proudly celebrated the varsity boys basketball team, winner of the New York State Championship. On Wednesday, a celebratory motorcade rolled through town, passing every elementary, middle, and high school school in the city. The motorcade ended with a celebratory rally at Mount Vernon City Hall.
