Mount Vernon Man Admits Driving With Fake Registration Tag
He was also accused of driving with a suspended license.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — A Mount Vernon man pleaded guilty to driving with fake registration tags. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said Monday that Preston Thomas, 45, of Mount Vernon, admitted that he was caught driving with a fraudulent New Jersey temporary registration tag.
He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a misdemeanor.
Thomas was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge immediately upon his plea in Mount Vernon City Court.

He also pleaded guilty to third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a misdemeanor.
For that, authorities said, he also received a conditional discharge that will run concurrently.
