Mount Vernon Memorial Day Parade 2018
Mayor Richard Thomas invites the community to attend the Memorial Day Parade on May 28.
From the City of Mount Vernon: Join us Monday, May 28, 2018 for our annual Memorial Day Parade where we come together as a community to pay our respects to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Observance begins at 8:30 AM at Mount Vernon City Hall with a wreath laying ceremony. The Parade will begin two blocks away at the intersection of Prospect and Park Avenues at 9:30 AM, ending at Hartley Park.
Mount Vernon will also inaugurate our Westchester Jerk Festival, a celebration of Caribbean food, music, and culture, Sunday & Monday 1 PM until 11 PM. Get your tickets here.
