Mt Vernon Police Probe Slaying Of Teen Shot And Thrown From Car

MOUNT VERNON, NY — A 19-year-old Bronx resident who was shot and thrown out of a moving car in Mount Vernon has died, and police are investigating.

Police said that Massad Davis had already been shot when he was thrown out of a moving vehicle at 12:56 a.m. Nov. 9, at South Columbus and Washington streets.

He was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition. He died Nov. 12.

"We are seeking information to identify the suspects in this heinous crime," a police spokesperson said.
