MOUNT VERNON, NY — The crew of a Metro-North train headed from Stamford, Connecticut to Grand Central Terminal Monday night reported discovering a body on the tracks at the Mount Vernon East station. The dead person was found at 10:46 p.m. The MTA police are investigating the incident.This is a developing story; check back with Patch for updates.
