Music Producer and Author Tony Dofat Returns to Mount Vernon

From the Mount Vernon Public Library:

On Saturday, June 18 at 2:00pm the Mount Vernon Public Library will host music producer and associate professor Mr. Tony Dofat upon the release of his books, “Business and Fundamentals of Music Production” and “Intro to Digital Audio.”

Mr. Dofat will share his journey as one of the top producers in the music industry and discuss his books which cover everything you need to know about the business of music production from the creative aspect. Tony Dofat knows the music industry and he shares, “this outlet has created a plethora of self- made multi-millionaires.” Mr. Dofat’s books provide the tools needed to be successful in music production.

Tony was introduced to the music business by hit maker Diddy. This Mt. Vernon, NY native went on to write, arrange, mix, engineer and produce for nearly two decades. Tony created and produced hit tracks and remixes for everyone from Heavy D, Notorious B.I.G, Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Will Smith, Method Man, and Jodeci to Tina Turner. Mr. Dofat was appointed Associate Professor of Media Arts by Long Island University in 2015. He is without a doubt a powerhouse in his own right
