Police Investigating Killing Of 30-Year-Old Bronx Man On City Street
Detectives from the Major Case Squad, Crime Scene Unit and Digital Forensics Unit are looking for possible suspects, according to officials.

YONKERS, NY — Police are investigating the death of a 30-year-old Bronx man found on a city street as a homicide.
Just after 6:30 p.m. on Friday, the Yonkers Police Department received a report of an injured man on the street at Woodbine Street and Blackford Avenue. Despite rescue attempts from first responders, the man, who has not yet been identified by officials, died from his injuries at the hospital.
Detectives from the Major Case Squad, the Crime Scene Unit and the Digital Forensics Unit are looking for possible suspects, but said there is no active risk to the public. YPD officials said the department has dedicated all available resources to determining how and why the death occurred and identifying anyone responsible for this incident.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Detective Division at 914-377-7724 or 914-377-7725. Police say all calls can remain anonymous. The public can also contact the YPD anonymous tip-line by texting "YPD" and the tip, to 274637.
