Police Release Video Of 6-Car Collision, Arrest of DWI Suspect
At the Yonkers Jail, the 21-year-old submitted to a breath test, which revealed that he was almost three times the legal limit, cops said.

YONKERS, NY — A Yonkers police surveillance camera survived a six-car collision long enough to capture footage of the crash. Body cameras captured the DWI arrest that followed.
While heading south on South Broadway near Caryl Avenue on Saturday night, police say Angel Illesscas of Philipsburg, New Jersey, managed to drive his gray Honda sedan into several other vehicles. The six-car wreck that was caught on film, caused damage to five vehicles, in addition to Illesscas's car. One of the vehicles was launched into a utility pole, damaging several electronics, including the Yonkers Police Department camera.
Police said the accident caused a significant traffic delay, but only one person suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Officers arriving at the scene of the accident reported noticing signs of intoxication when speaking to Illesscas, who eventually failed a portion of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. He was arrested and at the Yonkers City Jail, the 21-year-old submitted to a chemical test of his breath, which revealed that he was almost three times the legal limit, police said.
Illesscas was charged with aggravated DWI and was released with an appearance ticket.
