Ramp, Lane Closures Continue On The Hutch

Work should be done by Friday.

The lane and ramp closures on the Hutchinson River Parkway between Exit 8 (Sanford Boulevard) and Exit 12 (East Lincoln Avenue) are expected to end Friday. Crews are doing maintenance work.

Right lane closures are scheduled nightly on both northbound and southbound sides of the Parkway, weather permitting. Closures on the northbound side are anticipated to occur between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. and closures on the southbound side are anticipated to occur between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

The Exit 9 (Wolfs Lane) ramp from the northbound side of the Parkway is expected to be finished Wednesday morning. The Exit 10 (East 3rd Street) ramp from the southbound side of the Parkway is expected to be closed nightly beginning Wednesday until Friday.

Expect delays and use the posted detour for the ramp closures. Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all flaggers and traffic control devices.

Remember fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
