Ribbon-Cutting as Lincoln Lounge Reopens
The Mount Vernon landmark restaurant gets a new lease on life.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — The Lincoln Lounge, the venerable eatery much loved by city residents (and many nearby), is re-opening.
The restaurant was sold in 2015 — after 65 years — by the Solano family to longtime customer Mark Stagg. But it struggled, and closed.
This year, Mount Vernon officials said, two restaurateurs have supported the restaurant and enabled it to re-open at 209 Stevens Ave.

The Lincoln Lounge has been serving high-quality Italian fare for over 65 years. Mayor Richard Thomas said, “This re-opening is truly an indication of the strength of their following and the strength of their location."
A ribbon-cutting was held Dec. 8.
