Road Rage Crash On I-87 Ends In Felony Charges For Florida, NY Man
The driver rear-ended a car soon after a dispute in Yonkers in which he threatened the other motorist with an "edged weapon," cops said.
YONKERS, NY — On Friday aftenoon, just before 2:30 p.m., state police received a report of a menacing complaint that occurred on the I-87 exit 5 (Yonkers – Central Park Ave.) on-ramp, in Yonkers.
Troopers say Ruben D. Luciano, of Florida, NY, rear-ended another vehicle following a road rage incident, in which he reportedly exited his vehicle and threatened the other driver with an edged weapon.
Troopers report finding the 48-year-old was in possession of the edged weapon, as well as a utility knife.

Luciano was charged with two counts of felony criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction. He was also charged with menacing and was ticketed as a result of the crash.
Luciano was arraigned before the City of Yonkers Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail due to having three prior felony convictions, according to New York State Police.
