Robbery Connected 2nd Man to Shooting of Little Girl
The little girl recovered. He awaits sentencing.

YONKERS, NY — The second man involved in a shooting that injured a little girl on the street has been found guilty, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. announced Monday.
Lamont McLean, 23, was found guilty after a jury trial conducted by Judge Barry Warhit of two counts of Robbery in the First Degree, class “B” Felonies.
This follows the June 8, 2017 guilty plea of Floyd Bruce, 20, who pleaded guilty before Judge Barry Warhit to:- one count of Robbery in the First Degree, a class “B” Felony,
- one count of Attempted Assault in the First Degree, a class “C” Felony,
- one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a class “C” Felony.
Here's how the series of incidents unfolded, said Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. While walking on Willow Street in Yonkers July 16, 2016, Bruce fired a .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol. He struck a four-year-old girl in the leg. She was not the intended target.

Bruce ran from the scene. The victim was taken to a local area hospital where she was treated and released a few days later.
Ten days later, Bruce and McLean were armed with handguns when they approached two men in a parked car on Palisade Avenue in Yonkers, prosecutors said. They robbed both men at gunpoint and then ran from the scene.

Lamont McLean will be sentenced on Sept. 28. Floyd Bruce will be sentenced on Nov. 2.
Both defendants face a maximum of 25 years in state prison. Deputy Bureau Chief Nadine Nagler of the Career Criminal Division prosecuted the cases.
