Saw Mill River Parkway Closures Begin On Wednesday: NYSDOT

The New York State Department of Transportation said Westchester single and double lane closures will continue through Friday.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — There is likely to be traffic congestion on the Saw Mill River Parkway throughout the week as crews periodically close lanes in each direction.

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) said Westchester single and double lane closures are expected on the Saw Mill River Parkway northbound and southbound. Crews will be working on the traffic signs in both directions between the New York City line and the Cross County Parkway in Yonkers.

The lane closures are expected to begin Wednesday, February 2 and continue through Friday, February 4. The work will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting.

Officials are urging motorists to slow down and drive responsibly in the work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a drivers license suspension.
