School Closings, Delays: Mount Vernon
The National Weather Service has issued winter storm advisories for the region.
MOUNT VERNON, NY — A massive winter storm is expected to bring heavy snow and high winds to southern Westchester on Thursday. Predictions are that snow accumulations will be lower west of the Hudson River.
Here are local school closings and schedule changes as of 11 p.m. Wednesday:
- Eastchester schools - closed
- Harrison schools - closed
- Mamaroneck schools - closed
- Mount Vernon schools - closed
- New Rochelle schools - closed
- Pelham schools - closed
- Rye schools - closed
- Scarsdale schools - closed
- White Plains schools - closed
- Yonkers schools - closed
