Services Set For Christopher Jack 'CJ' Hackett, 16, Of Yonkers
Hackett died Thursday after being struck by a van driven by a Yonkers city worker.
YONKERS, NY — Services have been set for Christopher Jack "CJ" Hackett, the 16-year-old who died as a result of a hit-and-run in Yonkers Wednesday.
A celebration of Hackett's life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave. in Pelham from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Friday at St. Barnabas Church, 409 E. 241st. St. in the Bronx. Interment will follow at Winston Cemetery in East Durham, Greene County.

Hackett is the oldest of three children. He was raised in Yonkers and attended St. Paul The Apostle Pre K School through the eighth grade.
After that, he went to Archbishop Stepinac High School and was about to begin his junior year.

Hackett is survived by his parents, Christopher and Yvonne Hackett, siblings Leilea and Harry.

Police said, around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, Stephen Dolan, a city of Yonkers DPW employee, struck Hackett, who was riding an electric scooter, with his van on McLean Avenue in Yonkers.
Authorities said Dolan left the scene. Hackett was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx where he died a day later.
Dolan has been charged with felony leaving the scene of an incident with a fatality without reporting, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.
