State Police Are Seeking Witnesses To Violent I-87 Road Rage Assault

The two men who were hurt in the attack on Monday evening are recovering from injuries and listed in stable condition.

YONKERS, NY — New York State Police are asking motorists for help investigating a violent road rage incident in Westchester County.

On Monday night, around 8:30 p.m., the road rage assault took place on I-87 South, near Exit 6 (Tuckahoe Road) in Yonkers, according to New York State Police.

Two men were injured in the attack and are listed in stable condition.

While the nature of the assault and a description of the vehicle suspected to be involved in the assault are circulating online, state police did not list these details in their request for witnesses.

State police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Investigator Michael Bota at 914-742-6400.
