YONKERS, NY — A heavily traveled interchange will again be closing overnight making travel in Westchester much less straightforward for about five hours.

The New York State Thruway Authority says the northbound I-87 exit 4 ramp (Cross County Parkway - Mile Square Road) to Central Park Ave. and the Cross County Parkway in Yonkers will close overnight Thursday, May 5.

The good news is the closure isn't expected to affect the morning commute. The ramp will be closed from 11:30 p.m. until 4:30 a.m. the following day to facilitate maintenance activities.
