Travel Alert: Thruway Exit Ramp To Be Closed Overnight Thursday
The ramp connecting the 2 major highways in Westchester will be closed until Friday morning .
YONKERS, NY — The shortest distance between two points won't be a straight line overnight for some Westchester County drivers.
The New York State Thruway Authority says the northbound I-87 exit 4 ramp (Cross County Parkway - Mile Square Road) to Central Park Ave. and the Cross County Parkway in Yonkers will close overnight Thursday, March 10.
The good news is the closure isn't expected to affect the morning commute. The ramp will be closed from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day to facilitate maintenance activities.

Motorists should follow the posted detour to the I-87 exit 3 ramp (Mile Square Road), which will take them to Central Park Ave.
A Variable Message Sign will be activated ahead of the work zone to alert motorists of the closure and detour.
