Our seniors, families and young children came out in droves to attend Mount Vernon's annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Residents enjoyed the "Caroling Toy Soldiers", hot chocolate, horse and carriage rides, Christmas cookies and live music. In addition to the festivities we were able to share the holiday spirit with Mount Vernon families by giving away 250 Christmas trees and wreaths. We also commemorated Hanukah 2018 with the lighting of the menorah.
