Two Shootings, One Death Sunday in Mount Vernon

A man in Mount Vernon was shot to death Sunday.

Police are trying to find out whether the death of Charles Smith, 42, is related to one that happened about an hour later, lohud.com said.

Smith was killed near the Third Street and Second Avenue intersection. The other shooting was on S. Ninth Ave.
