A lucky winner in Yonkers will be taking home a prize worth $16,889 from the recent lottery drawing.

YONKERS, NY — The New York Lottery announced a top-prize winning TAKE-5 ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven on McLean Avenue. The ticket is worth $16,889 to the person holding the winning numbers.
TAKE-5 numbers are drawn nightly from a field of numbers ranging from one through 39. The Westchester County winning ticket was sold for the July 11, 10:30 p.m. drawing. The winner has up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize money.
The winning numbers on the prize-winning lottery ticket are 01-04-25-30-31. While the overall odds of winning are 1 in 8.77, the odds of winning the jackpot with 5 matching numbers are 1 in 575,757.

The Hudson Valley winner will split the top prize with two other winners who also matched all five numbers. One ticket was sold at a Wegmans in Rochester. The other ticket was sold at a cigar shop in Franklin Square.
