YONKERS, NY — The New York Lottery announced a top-prize-winning TAKE-5 ticket was sold in Yonkers.
The ticket was purchased at Avenue Deli Grocery, located at 174 Yonkers Ave. The ticket is worth $21,726.00 to the person holding the winning numbers.
TAKE-5 numbers are drawn twice daily from a field of numbers ranging from one through 39. The Yonkers winning ticket was sold for the Wednesday, September 22, 10:30 p.m. drawing. The winner has up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize money.

The winning numbers on the prize-winning lottery ticket are 09-23-25-26-39, which the Yonkers winner played using the Free Play feature. While the overall odds of winning are 1 in 8.77, the odds of winning the jackpot with 5 matching numbers are 1 in 575,757.
The Yonkers winner will split the top prize with a winner in the Bronx who also matched all five numbers, using the Regular Play. The winning ticket in this case was purchased at Arliss Wine & Liquors Corp, located at 248 E. 204th St.
