Winning Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold In The Hudson Valley
The jackpot may be rolling over for Powerball, but still someone local lucked out Saturday.
MOUNT VERNON, NY — No one hit the jackpot in Saturday's Powerball drawing, but someone lucky bought a ticket that was a $1 million winner.
New York Lottery officials said the ticket was sold at Estrella Minimarket in Mount Vernon.
The winning numbers in the Aug. 12 drawing were 20-24-26-35-49 and Powerball 19. The Mount Vernon ticket had everything but the right Powerball number, lottery officials told The Journal News.
