Winter Clothing Drive: Mount Vernon Seeks Hats, Socks, Scarves

MOUNT VERNON, NY — Mount Vernon's Office of Emergency Management is conducting a drive to gather warm clothes for needy residents now until March 31. They're looking for socks, hats, gloves and scarves.

If you have new or lightly used items to donate, you can find drop-off boxes at:

• City Hall, 1 Roosevelt Square West
• The Armory, 144 N 5th Ave.
