Yonkers Police Issue Alert For Missing Man With Schizophrenia

Police are asking the public's help finding the 40-year-old Yonkers man, last seen in the vicinity of 11 Saint Casimir Ave. on Monday.

YONKERS, NY — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing man. Kenneth Cooper of Yonkers was last seen Monday near Saint Casimir Avenue and Elm Street. The 40-year-old is considered at-risk and is diagnosed with schizophrenia, according to a missing person advisory issued by the department on Wednesday morning.

Police are also circulating a recent photograph of Cooper who is described as 5'11'' and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He was wearing a red sweatshirt, blue jeans and white Nike athletic shoes when he was last accounted for.
