Yonkers Will Remember 9/11 Anniversary With 2 Ceremonies

Ceremonies will take place in Yonkers to honor those who sacrificed in the terror attacks of September 11.

YONKERS, NY — On the 20th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks, the Yonkers community will gather to mourn those who were lost and those who risked everything in response.

The City of Yonkers will mark the tragedy with two ceremonies. The first will take place at 8:30 a.m. at the 9/11 Memorial on Water Grant Street on the Yonkers Waterfront. An evening remembrance will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Conor Park on Central Park Avenue.
