When: Saturday, October 15, 2016, 10 am-4 pm
Where: Day-of-Event Ticket Pick-Up and Purchase at Haverstraw Town Hall, One Rosman Road, Garnerville
Price: $40 in advance ($45, day of event)
In 1616, the name "Haverstroo" made its first known appearance on a Dutch map. In 2016, we are pleased to present "400 Years of Haverstraw," a self-guided Historic Homes & Landmarks Tour that will highlight many aspects of the Town's rich and vibrant history. Featured on the tour are:

- The Bricktown Inn and Casa Hudson, nineteenth-century homes that have been beautifully restored as B&Bs, in the Village of Haverstraw;
- The Rockland Print Works Historic District/Garner Arts Center in the Village of West Haverstraw; and
- a selection of other homes, businesses & landmark sites throughout the Town of Haverstraw that will remain secret until tour day.

Tickets are $40 in advance ($45 on the day of the tour). Prepaid reservations are strongly recommended. Proceeds benefit the Historical Society of Rockland County and the Quadricentennial Committee.

To pick up reserved tickets on October 15, bring your confirmation form to the registration desk at Haverstraw Town Hall, One Rosman Road, Garnerville. Souvenir guidebooks that include the map of the tour will be available. The guidebooks also serve as your admission ticket at each tour stop.
As a courtesy to homeowners on the day of the tour, please wear soft-soled shoes. (No high heels, please!) Also, please refrain from taking photographs, chewing gum, eating and drinking while visiting tour locations.
Free parking in the Village of Haverstraw is available at the municipal lot across Maple Avenue from Haverstraw Village Hall, 40 New Main Street. Additional parking throughout the tour is noted in the souvenir guidebook.
