UPDATE: Men ID'd in Wednesday Night Home Invasion in Nanuet
Clarkstown police nabbed three men in a car getting onto the New York State Thruway.

NANUET, NY — The Clarkstown Police Department arrested three men from New York City for robbery and burglary stemming from a home invasion robbery that occurred Wednesday on Newport Drive in Nanuet.
There were no injuries to the residents who were home during the robbery. Patrol units were able to apprehend the suspects as they drove away and onto the New York State Thruway.
Police responded to the Newport Drive residence after getting a report about several men entering an occupied home and displaying handguns.

Responding officers interviewed the 49-year-old victim who stated that he went out into his garage to retrieve something and two men pointed guns at him and demanded money and jewelry.
The victim gave the men an unknown amount of cash and they ran to a waiting vehicle.

Police stopped them on the New York State Thruway and took them into custody without incident. After a search of the area a loaded 9mm and a loaded 40 cal. pistol were recovered. The men were transported to police headquarters for processing. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
The three suspects were identified as Kyle Johnson, 30, of Bronx, NY; Jamon Sutton, 33 of Bronx, NY; and James Capeles, 26, of Brooklyn, NY. They were all transported to police headquarters for processing and charged with Burglary 1st(felony), Robbery 1st (felony) and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd (felony). They were to be arraigned Thursday.
