AutoPro Hosts Clinic For Local Mechanics, Technicians

ran a "AutoPro University" clinic on Mobile Air Conditioning as part of the local company's efforts to help train mechanics and technicians on new methods and diagnostic procedures in the automotive industry.

The clinic at the in Nanuet included nearly 100 automotive technicians from Rockland, Bergen, Orange and Westchester counties. Each  received door prizes, ranging from tools to gas cards or Chili's gift certificates.

Vendors including Goodyear Belts and Hose, Deka Batteries, Nastra, SUR&R, Robinair and GPD were at the clinic for attendees to speak with. The proctor of this specific class was Wayne Herndon, board member and past-president of the International Mobile Air Conditioning Association and winner of the Industry Pioneer Award. 

He discussed new systen design changes, compressor failure diagnosis and the future of A/C technology.

University's Motto is "Turning Wrenches Into Technicians." AutoPro has locations in Nanuet, Spring Valley and Haverstraw, as well as in Monroe, Newburgh and Hawthorne.
