Bangs Hair Salon, Girl Scouts Present Highview Playground Money Raised
They presented the check during the Nanuet Civic Association Meeting last Thursday, June 2
Helen Lynch, owner of Bangs Hair Salon in Pearl River, held a haircut to benefit the Highview Community Playground rebuilding project on April 20.
The Lynch family and the girl scouts came to the Nanuet Civic Association meeting last Thursday, June 2 to present what they raised to the Highview Playground and to receive a certificate of appreciation from the Association. They raised $1,800 and plan to do another similar fundraiser soon.
100 percent of the proceeds from the haircuts went to the playground and this cause is close to Lynch's heart because she has a child starting at Highview Elementary in the fall.
