Expecting Icy Roads, Clarkstown Schools Will Delay Start

With frigid temperatures and icy conditions in the Feb. 3 morning forecast, school officials in many districts have scheduled a later start to the day:

• Albertus Magnus High School has a 2-hour delay
• Brewster schools and offices are on a 2-hour delay
• Briarcliff Manor schools have a 2-hour delay
• Chappaqua Central School District has a 2-hour delay
• Clarkstown schools have a 2-hour delay
• Great Beginnings Nursery School will start at 10:30 AM
• Harrison schools have a 2-hour delay
• The Harvey School has a 2-hour delay
• Hendrick Hudson schools have a 2-hour delay
• Lakeland Central School District has a 3-hour delayed start
• Ossining Children’s Center will start at 9:00 AM
• Ossining schools have a 2-hour delay
• Peekskill city schools have a 2-hour delay
• Peekskill Head Start will have no morning classes
• Pleasantville School District has called a 2-hour delayed start
• Pocantico Hills School District will start at 10:15 AM
• Putnam Head Start has a 2-hour delay
• Putnam-Northern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services has a 2-hour delay
• St. Gregory the Great-Pre-School will have no morning Pre-K
• Somers schools have a 2-hour delay
• Southern Westchester BOCES will start at 10 AM
• The Masters School will start at 10AM
• Yorktown schools have a 3-hour delayed start
