FBI in Spring Valley Again: Report
The village, part of the "Corridor of Corruption" a few years ago, has been visited several times since by the FBI. It's a trend.
SPRING VALLEY, NY — For the second time in six weeks, FBI agents are visiting Spring Valley Village Hall, News 12 reports.
Agents removed boxes of evidence March 2, the news channel reported. Tuesday, they were back and focusing on the Treasury Department.

Criminal investigations have dogged Spring Valley's government for years.

Authorities allege the village's Building Inspector helped a local businessman obtain a certificate of occupancy and a tax exemption and house a day-care center. They were both indicted.
The former mayor and deputy mayor were sentenced to prison for their role in the "Corridor of Corruption" scandal that rocked politics from NYC to Albany.

A move to remove current Spring Valley Mayor Demeza Delhomme from office for malfeasance has moved as far as a hearing in White Plains, which started this week, according to the Rockland County Times.
And Spring Valley is part of the town of Ramapo, infamous for its corruption scandals, including criminal and civil charges against criminal charges against the town's supervisor, attorneys and assistant finance director from the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission. The town's building inspector was indicted after a scathing letter from the New York Education Department to town officials wasn't acted on.
