Why Go: Enjoy music of the 1930 and 1940s. Celebrate the library’s 75th anniversary.

- Fundraiser in Memory of Keith Furey
Where/When: Knights of Columbus Hall, 150 Erie Street W, Blauvelt. Sunday July 17, 2 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Why Go: Fundraiser for the family of Keith Furey, swim coach, Boy Scout leader and active community member who passed away from cancer. Event organized by Friends of Furey includes live music, clowns, face painting and raffles.

- Sketch Fashions Like Bill Blass
Where/When: Rockland Historical Society, 20 Zukor Road, New City. Saturday, July 16 11 am - 12:30 p.m.
Why Go: Learn to sketch like famous fashion designer Bill Blass. Work with photos and mannequins.

Why Go: It isn’t summer in Nyack for the little ones without the Farmer’s Market pickle vendor and a free concert from The Bossy Frog Band.

Why Go: Part of the Teen Movies to Keep You Cool series, anyone entering the 6th grade or older can kick it old school with Woody, Mighty Mouse, Caspar and Felix. Register for the summer reading program and you’ll be entered to win the DVD.
