Why Go: There will be sports, food, vendors and lots of fun for the family!

Where/When: Saints Constantine and Helen Church, Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday, noon to midnight; Saturday, 11 a.m. to midnight; Sunday, noon - 8 p.m.

- Ken Zebrowski Memorial Walk
Where/When: Congers Memorial Park from 9 a.m. - 12 noon on Saturday, June 4
Why Go: Fundraiser for the Ken Zebrowski Memorial Fund—all proceeds go to Hepatitis C Research and scholarships for Rockland County students
Price: $20 entry fee for an individual, $30 entry fee for a family
- Car Wash and Sales
Where/When: Link Elementary School (51 Red Hill Road, New City) on Sunday, June 5
Why Go: It's a car wash, bake sale and yard sale to benefit the Forever Jordan Foundation
Price: Not Much
Where/When: Central Ave. in Pearl River; on Sunday, June 5;
Rain date: Sunday, June 19.Why Go: Spectators are invited to cheer for the young drivers participating in this year's Pearl River Rotary Soap Box Race. Sponsored by The Rotary Club of Pearl River, this event is intended solely for drivers ages eight to 16. Prizes and trophies will be awarded, and any leftover prize money will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Fund of Rockland County.
Pricing: Free for spectators. $20.00 per driver/car. Pre-registration required.
- “Learn To Ride/Teach Your Kid to Ride A Bike Day” with
Bike New York
Where/When: Veteran’s Memorial Park; Saturday, June 4 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for children ages five, six and seven years old; from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for children eight and older. Rain date is Saturday, June 11.
Why Go: Children, accompanied by an adult, will learn bike safety and how to ride a bike independently, using an innovative “balancing first” method. For this program to be successful, participants must be able to touch the ground with their entire foot while seated on their bike. Hosted by Orangetown Parks and Recreation, Bike New York encourages and promotes bicycling and bicycle safety through education and events.
Pricing: Free. Pre-registration is suggested. Day registration will take place beginning 15 minutes prior to the start of each class. Participants will need to provide their own bike and helmet. Call 845.359.6503 for further details.
Where: 136 N. Middletown Rd. in Pearl River
Why Go: Bring your team or your child’s team to King Kone for an ice cream after a game, and ask a King Kone worker to take a team photo, which will be posted on Facebook and www.kingkonepearlriver.com.
Pricing: Photo is free, but the tasty treats at King Kone will set you back a couple of dollars.
Why Go: The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) and The Merry Wives of Windsor performed at scenic Tallman Mountain State Park.
When/Where: Friday, June 3rd. 6pm-8:15pm. Palisades, NY.

- Orangeburg Volunteer Fire Association Carnival
Why Go: Carnival fun and food at this annual event with Saturday night fireworks!
When/Where: Wednesday, June 1st - Sunday, June 5th. Orangeburg, NY.

Why Go: Support the Fiber Craft Studio in Chestnut Ridge by enjoying a day of animals, wool and demonstrations. Hands on felting, spinning and dyeing activities and enjoy lunch at the Threefold Cafe or the sushi table.
