Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

You're time-pressed enough, so we're happy to do the research and find the best things to do and places to go, both locally and within reasonable striking distance.

- Nanuet Girl Scouts Car Wash for Highview Playground

Where/When: June 18, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at

Why Go: Come out and get your car washed for a good cause. The girl scouts will also have a bake sale and drink stand

- Pizza Night

Why Go: Get the whole family out for some good eating in a family friendly restaurant for a good price!

- Drop off Party

Where/When: Tumble-Bee Gymnastics, Friday from 5:00p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Want an adults night out? Bring the kids here where they will have tons of fun and pizza!

Price: $25 registered students, $30 guests

- Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival

Why Go: Vendors, activities for the whole family and an fantastic line-up of musicians come together for this once a year celebration to preserve the Hudson River.

- Serendipity Saturday

Why Go: Clarkstown Residents kick off the swim season with crafts, games, mini-golf, music and of course, the opening of Germonds Pool.
