Helping Rocklanders in Need at The Shops at Nanuet
The Shops at Nanuet has joined forces with People to People to help those struggling through difficult times.
The Shops at Nanuet has joined forces with People to People, Rockland County’s largest food pantry, to host programming throughout 2015 that directly impacts the organization’s efforts to help those struggling through difficult times.
Starting next month, People to People will have a presence at several events at The Shops at Nanuet through December 2015. The collaboration kicks off on February 14 with the Have a Heart, Help the Hungry Food Drive on the Upper Level, near Regal Cinemas. Visitors are encouraged to bring non perishable food items for People to People’s Food Pantry, which distributes hundreds of sustenance packages every month to households from every town, village and hamlet in Rockland County.
“We are thrilled to work with People to People and assist this worthwhile organization to expand its reach within the community through The Shops at Nanuet,” commented Briana Puncar, director of marketing and business development for The Shops at Nanuet. “By utilizing our resources and status as a central gathering place, we are continuing our commitment to be a good neighbor to those we serve in Rockland County. We look forward to the positive imprint these events will make on People to People. “
