Hi-Tor's Pet of the Week: Lilly

Each week we highlight another wonderful pet adoptable from Hi-Tor Animal Care Center, Rockland County's only animal shelter.

A 3-year-old American bulldog/boxer mix, Lilly was surrendered for not getting along with the other animals in the house. Lilly was a shy girl when she first arrived, but that soon changed. Full of energy and ready to play, Lilly would make a great hiking companion or exercise partner. She loves going for a nice jog through the woods, climbing on top of rocks or downed trees. Her best feature is her ability to quickly adapt; she is well-trained and obedient, and never makes a mess in her cage.

Lilly is very bonded to staff and volunteers and most can’t resist “the look,” dropping what they’re doing to spend some time with her. Cuddling is a must because Lilly just can’t get enough! Lilly would do best in a home without other animals or children under thirteen.

For more information, please contact Hi-Tor Animal Care Center, 65 Fireman’s Memorial Drive, Pomona, NY (Phone: 845-354-7900, Email: info@hitor.org).
