Nanuet Entrepreneur Sprays Hair for a Good Cause
Vogue Hair Salon in Nanuet offering a complimentary class to the talented kids from Nanuet High School's production of Hairspray

When the show/movie Hairspray opens, Tracy Turnblad goes to school and is given a warning for "inappropriate hair height". This March, Nanuet teens will be sporting inappropriate hair and singing and dancing their hearts out. For $10 at Nanuet High School, all the fun and frolic is available to our local community. The show is at 8 p.m. March 11 and 12.
Nanuet High School is one of the first schools in the nation to put on the musical Hairspray. Nanuet HS Graduate Scott Wittman is the lyricist for the original 2002 Broadway production of Hairspray along with Marc Shaiman.
Vogue Hair Salon in Nanuet is helping the production by donating their time and talent to this energetic, gifted group of high school students. On Sunday, Feb. 20, they will be giving “Professional Hair and Make-Up Classes” to the students.
