New City Woman Charged With DWI In Ramapo

RAMAPO, NY — An initial report that a man had taken a child from her mother and fled turned out to have a very different context. The incident took place July 12.

Police have charged a 24-year-old New City woman with driving while intoxicated. They report that she was driving her car with her 7-year-old daughter inside and crashed into her brother's car. The brother stopped her and took the child out, police said.
