New Rockland Chamber Hosts First Networking Event

The Rockland Chamber celebrated its new beginning by hosting its first networking event on Thursday evening. This chamber is a collection of many different networking and chambers of commerce groups across Rockland, Bergen and Orange counties.

"There is no centralized membership for the Rockland Chamber. The way we're going to do this is through other chambers and networking groups," said Tom Ossa of Rockland Web Design. "Chambers around the county are not branching out. The Rockland Chamber will help facilitate inter-chamber events." 

The Rockland Chamber hopes to help with other inter-chamber events, such as the one on Thursday at the Bear Mountain Inn. That networking event also debuted the inn's new makeover and reopening. Several chambers and networking groups came out to mingle, listen to light jazz music and enjoy a buffet provided by the Bear Mountain Inn.
