Ronald McDonald Stops By Nanuet (VIDEO)
Ronald the clown visits with kids and families prior to the restaurant's ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday
Ronald McDonald made a special appearance in Nanuet on Sunday afternoon. The Route 59 restaurant was decorated with balloons and banners for the event at which children and adults alike had the opportunity to have their picture taken with the iconic clown.
Ronald, who is perhaps the most public face of McDonald’s Corp. has been making appearances since 1963.

“This is such a wonderful experience it makes every day of my life so fulfilling, it’s such a joy,” said Ronald. After stopping to greet a new employee named Alison, he continued about the new stores.
“It is a lot of fun, honestly, we go all over, we’ve got these new stores, look at them! What do you think of that new look? It is kind of weird right? But it’s nice. It’s new!”

There will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday afternoon to celebrate the opening of the newly built Nanuet location.
