Spring Valley Man Charged With Felony DWI On NY Thruway
disabled car, suspended license, no interlock device

New York State police said they responded to a report of a disabled car on I-87 in Newburgh at 2:20 p.m. Saturday. They concluded, after interviewing the driver, Daniel Hyppolite, 34, of Spring Valley, NY, that he was intoxicated.
They also discovered he had a suspended license.
Hyppolite was arrested and transported to SP Newburgh where his blood alcohol content was determined to be .16 percent. Additionally, they found Hyppolite has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and is required to operate a vehicle with an ignition interlock device.

As a result, he was charged with the following:
- Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony
- Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree; a Class E Felony
- Operating a Motor Vehicle with no Ignition Interlock Device; a Class A Misdemeanor
- Vehicle and Traffic Violations
Hyppolite was arraigned before the Town of Newburgh Court.
