Thursday: Nanuet Chamber of Commerce Meeting

After a at the last Nanuet Chamber of Commerce meeting, current chamber organizers are urging more participation from businesses and landlords.  The next meeting is this Thursday, May 24 at 7 p.m. at the .

"While our goal that evening is to continue the basic work of forming the chamber, we would also like to have some groups talk about the other items on the longer term agenda. Please join us to toss some ideas around," said Risa Hoag of Nanuet and GMG Public Relations. 

At Thursday night's meeting, the mission statement will be reviewed and approved. There is an interim board to keep things moving until the bylaws are done and a nominating committee to make recommendations for the formal board. 

Also, June 2 is the and the chamber will have an information table from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
