Tonight: Ladies Night—Jewelry & Chocolate for Charity

Chocolate and shopping is always a good stress reliever for women, but it gets even better when it's benefitting something at the same time.

“It’s just a casual night of fun,” said Sheryl Lorber, president of . “It’s a just a good time to get ladies together and do some pre-Valentine’s Day shopping for a good cause.”

A percentage of any of the jewelry or store gifts and chocolate that are bought will be donated to the American Heart Society.

Here’s what’s being featured tonight:

• Chocolate samples
• Chocolate skin care
• Fortune teller for palm readings,
• A speaker from the Board of the American Heart Society

“This is the second time we’re doing this,” said Lorber. “I started it with the idea to bring us ladies together to benefit causes that are important to women. Last time it was for breast cancer. I actually gave the proceeds to one of my customers that was battling breast and ovarian cancer. It was just a nice event.”

Last time, the event was right before Christmas and Hanukkah. There were approximately 100 ladies and it lasted until 9:30 p.m.
